Our hospital has a Technician Training and Development Coordinator, who works closely with all Technicians and Assistants to provide aid in development, help set goals, and push our team to greatness. It is essential to our hospital that every Technician and Assistant feel supported in their professional development and growth. What makes VCA Aurora Animal Hospital Unique ? They will be included in an on-call rotation for both Surgeons and Neurologists. Upon complete training with the Surgery Service (commonly three months), associates will train to perform on-call surgery duties. Schedule : Full-Time, four 10-hour weekdays. Work collaboratively with team members of all hospital services.Creating individualized anesthetic protocols in collaboration withNeurologists.Performing laboratory work and diagnostic imaging.Physical examinations and patient assessment.Skills that our Neurology Technicians utilize, but are not limited to: Technical skills are sharpened, and new techniques are learned every day. Our Neurology Technicians provide exceptional care to every patient. Our Neurology Technicians are exposed to diverse and stimulating caseload. Our board-certified neurologist perform intricate examinations, diagnostic testing, and neurologic surgeries. VCA Aurora’s Neurology Service comprises of two board-certified neurologists, Licensed Technicians, and Veterinary Assistants. We offer a team approach to veterinary medicine where specialists work together to provide the most advanced care possible for every patient utilizing the newest diagnostic equipment and therapeutic techniques. Our services and medical equipment mirror what one would find at a human medical center. VCA Aurora is open 24/7, 365 days a year, and provides a wide range of specialty, critical care, emergency service, and primary care. VCA Aurora Animal Hospital is expanding its Neurology Service and is seeking Licensed Veterinary Technicians!
